• Tool Management and setting of your own machinery.
• Writing your own programs.
• Working closely with production, estimating and sales.
• Maximise the throughput of the machines.
• Maintain machine daily maintenance checks and work area.
• Verify work is completed accurately to the drawing and quality standards.Requirements:
• Time served Apprenticeship.
• Medium to heavy industry experience is an advantage for some machines.
• CNC Machining 5-Axis machining is an advantage, but not critical.
• Tool room/Jig Building background Preferred.
• Heidenhain Preferred.
• CNC Milling Machine or Jigboring operation knowledge.
• Interpret drawing and GDT symbols.
