English and Maths Tutor
Location: Nottinghamshire, Collingham (NG23)Job Type: Flexible
Salary: Up to £30 Per hour
TP Tutors is looking for dedicated tutors to provide 1:1 tuition in homes and schools for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and other additional needs. We have multiple positions available, with ongoing hiring to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Job Duties:
- Provide English and Maths tutoring to students in the Collingham area (NG23)
- Develop tailored lesson plans to meet individual student needs
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on areas of improvement
- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and support students
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in English and Maths
- A relevant degree in Education, English, Maths, or related field
- Teaching qualification is desirable
- Experience in tutoring or teaching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of the English and Maths curriculum
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
