Charles Wolfson Ward cares for babies under the age of 1 year with general medical and surgical requirements. We work closely with both the neonatal intensive care unit, Lady Mary post natal Ward and general paediatrics. You will be able to gain skills and experience with a wide variety of newborn care and treatment, including administration on Total Parental Nutrition (TPN).

As a Clinical Practice Facilitator in children’s services, you’ll be joining a diverse and stimulating area.

Your main role will be to support new staff and junior Nurses settle in to the role and become competent in all areas of neonatal and paediatric care. As well as teach aspects of nursing that are specific to the ward. Our work is wide ranging and we are well respected both locally and as a regional specialist treatment centre.

A welcome subsidy of £1000 is available to all Band 5 and Band 6 Nurses, Midwives, ODPs and Radiographers and Band 5 Orthoptists taking up substantive employment with the Trust.
