Starting Salary c.£37,500 per annum (depending on skills, knowledge & experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced and talented Senior Production Technician & Events Manager to join our Performing Arts Department.
The Senior Production Technician & Events Manager is responsible for the logistical planning and technical oversight of Felsted’s Performing Arts Facilities and other venues within the School and ensuring that school productions, drama, Dance and Music provision, as well as school events, are delivered at the highest level of quality.The Senior Events & Theatre Technician Manager also has line management responsibilities for the Theatre Technician in ensuring that events, conferences and presentations are suitably resourced and delivered.
Felsted hosts over 40 productions/events per year and hosts a variety of conferences, ranging from LAMDA Performance Evenings to large scale productions. Recent productions have included ‘Sister Act!’, ‘Bugsy Malone’, ‘Oliver’ and ‘Frozen’. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in scenic construction, costume, stage management (including props), lighting, sound (digital, analogue and live), AV (filming, editing, live streaming) and be comfortable working at height.A degree qualification (or equivalent) in stage design/construction and/or stage management, with good working knowledge of sound and light operation would be desirable.
This role is a permanent position working term-time plus six weeks (totalling 40 weeks per annum). This is a full-time position working an average of 37.5 hours per week across five days out of seven, with additional hours worked given as TOIL as agreed.Further information and a full job description can be found on our website.
