Installation Engineer
Job Profile
Installation Engineer required for our client; a leading specialist in smoke ventilation, with over 30 years' experience in the industry, providing installation and maintenance. Due to expansion, they are looking to hire an experienced Installation Engineer to join their team based in the Hertfordshire area.
Successful candidates will install, carry out maintenance and diagnosing faults on smoke ventilation systems on a commercial and domestic basis, as well as represent on site and support the Commissioning and Senior Commissioning Engineers. Candidates will be responsible for managing their own work and assisting with the completion of paperwork as required.Candidates must also be open to travel the UK.
Installation Engineer Salary & Benefits- £33,800 - £42,900 DOE
- Working Hours: 50 hours per week 6/7am - 4/5pm

- Installing Smoke ventilation systems on a commercial and domestic basis.
- To assist Commissioning Engineer & Senior Commissioning Engineers to fix and commission electrical products that would make up part of a smoke vent system.
- Carrying out testing of electrical products that would make up part of a smoke vent system.
- Travelling to sites all over the UK
- To be able to wire & fix a wide range of smoke ventilation products from a range of manufacturers
- Ensure correct stock and collect relevant materials when necessary
- JIB / ECS Card Holder
- PASMA / IPAF
- 18th Edition
- 2391
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience in smoke ventilation
- Working knowledge of multiple manufacturers equipment e.g Colt, SCS, FDS & SE Controls
