Early Years Domestic SupportPennywell Early Learning and Childcare
Salary: £24,346 - £24,646 (pro rata for part time and sessional)Hours: 27 per week, 39 weeks sessional
Pennywell Early Learning and Childcare opened in August 2024. This exciting new centre for providing high quality learning experiences for children and families is part of the MacMillan Hub. MacMillan Hub is a community focused, collaborative location which will provide a range of services for the local community through partnership working with North Edinburgh Arts and the relocated Muirhouse library.
We are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic Early Years Domestic Support Assistant. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday between 0900 - 1500 with the exact pattern to be agreed to suit the needs of our service.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
