What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our large, friendly and incredibly dedicated team of teaching assistants, supporting teaching staff and pupils across our school.

We require a qualified and experienced teaching assistant to work initially within our Early Years team, so they will require an appropriate Level 3 Early Years qualification. However, our teaching assistants may be deployed across the school, so it would be advantageous to also have experience in Key Stage 1 or 2.

You will be assisting with supervision of the pupils in the classroom, in groups and 1:1 when required. The successful candidate will have experience of children with a range of educational and emotional needs and will be able to demonstrate resilience and calm in stressful situations, focussing on solutions with patience, kindness and empathy.
