Support Worker

Salary: £29,000 Per Year

Social Care & Education have an exciting opportunity for a candidate that is looking to make a difference to the individuals that they support. We are looking for someone with a background in care. You will need to have a level 2 certificate in British Sign Language due to the nature of the role.

• Provide personalised care and support to clients based on their individual needs.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Offer support during the night as needed.
• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with meal preparation, household duties
• Support clients in participating in community activities and events.
• Assist with transportation to appointments, social activities, and other outings.
• Use sign language skills to effectively communicate with clients who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with clients and their families.
• Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care, activities, and any incidents.

• Level 2 in British Sign Language
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.
