A Year 6 Teacher is required for an all-through school based in Redbridge. The school creates a happy and successful environment for their pupils, alongside providing a high-quality education for all. About your role as a Year 6 Class Teacher

As a Year 6 Teacher, your role will include but is not limited to:

• Delivering a broad and balanced curriculum in line with School policy.
• Teaching from planned objectives, which take account of differentiation to achieve progression in pupil's learning, setting clear targets for pupils' learning based on prior attainment.
• Set, mark, and monitor the pupils' assigned work, including homework.
• Fulfil the school's and national assessment, recording and reporting system as appropriate.
• Manage, with support, the work of Learning Support Assistants and other helpers in class to enhance children's learning.
• Take part fully in primary school duties such as supervising playtimes, taking whole school assemblies and class assemblies.

What you will need to succeed

A successful candidate will:

• Hold all necessary qualifications suited to the post.
• Have recent experience of working in the education system.
• Have good interpersonal skills.
• Show good standards of professionalism, being well-organised and capable of working to policy and procedure to agreed timescales.
