Quality Engineer
Job type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £54.15 Umbrella / £40.90 PAYE
Location: Reading
Hours of work: 66 hours/week average, 11 shifts on 3 off
Applicants must posses the following:- CSCS card or willing to obtain
- Highly regulated industry experience
- Mechanical background
- Experience drafting ITP's and construction installation, test & commissioning check sheets
- HNC or equivalent in relevant discipline
- Hold valid inspection certificates
- Develop and implement site quality arrangements
- Provide support and advice on all aspects of quality on site
- Ensure quality requirements are defined and properly implemented
- Develop and implement appropriate auditing arrangements internally and externally
- Ensure non conformances are managed and remediated effectively
- Review and approve supplier quality arrangements
- Review enquiries, tender and contract specifications
- Review purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Oversee installation, testing and commissioning activities in line with inspection and test plans
