About the Employer
We are looking for a fun loving, caring and energetic carer for our 24 year old daughter India. India still lives at home with her parents, two younger siblings and pet dog India loves to be taken on walks (in her buggy), visit places shops (specialist transport available) and likes fun loving people around her.The hours are negotiable and may include some weekend work.

About the Role
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support and/or prompt with personal care. This may include toileting, showering/bathing, getting in and out of bed, getting dressed.
- Support and/or prompt the individual to take medication.
- Support and/or prompt the individual to access sporting and leisure activities.
- Assist and encourage socialisation, participating in activities.
- Develop a good and trusting one to one working relationship.
- India likes to go on walks, so carer must be fit and able to regularly push India in her buggy for several miles.
Only candidates over the legal age should apply for this position as you will be required to administer medication.
The individuals needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
Lateral Flow Test Requirement:
Due to the nature of the work you’re applying for, you may be required to take a Lateral Flow Test (LFT) and upload the results online every day before you start work.
Transport Requirement:
Full driving licence is essential as the role requires you to drive the employer’s vehicle, for insurance purpose you must be 21.

- Flexibility would be an advantage as the hours may be variable.

Required Training:
Successful candidates are required to undertake any training that is considered necessary and appropriate to the role.- Moving and Handling. Training will be provided by the employer.
- Peg Feed. Training will be provided by the employer.
When you are Required:
Hours per week: 20 hours = 4 - 6pm weekdays plus 6 hours on 1 day at the weekend
