Customer Support Assistant
Overview:
Here at GB Railfreight we are looking for a Customer Support Administrator to join our friendly Intermodal team, you will work closely with the Customer Service Team and Delivery Manager to ensure trains are filled to maximum capacity by undertaking commercial administrative duties.You must have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with requests from customers and suppliers on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:
⦁ Liaise with customers to ensure bookings are placed on the system, customers are issued with relevant reference numbers and receive confirmation of arrivals and departures. Stock management as per the customer requirements is also required.
⦁ Manage, organise and update data on various systems including but not limited to destin8, TOPS, Paris, COMA and SCORPIO.⦁ There will be a requirement to interrogate data on the live systems as well as the information on train lists to review bookings versus actual delivery.
⦁ Identify any possible issues with containers and raise this to relevant parties so any issues can be resolved in a timely manner
⦁ Plan the movement of containers from road haulage to third party depots.
⦁ Manage additional charge notifications where necessary.
⦁ Upload interchange reports and attach to the correct file
Qualifications:
You must have strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure bookings are accurate and arranged in a timely fashion. This is a fast paced role so candidates must have the ability to prioritise and multi task whilst ensuring accuracy of the work they produce.
You will need good communication skills as you will be dealing with requests from customers and suppliers on a daily basis.
It would be desirable for candidates to have railway and TOP’s experience although full training will be provided.
