Junior Graphic Designer

Location: this is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week based In The Fold's Bermondsey Head Office

Role Purpose: Support in the design and execution of digital and print materials across various channels, while collaborating with the design team to produce high quality designs.

Areas of responsibility:

1. Design

• Work on The Fold’s digital and printed assets, with a focus on organic social, paid social, emails and homepage, as well as more bespoke projects and store POS.
• Developing design assets into rich, creative online and offline experiences across multiple touch points, with a focus on engaging newsletters and social media campaigns.
• Continuously driving the brand’s creative output with innovative and effective design, inspiring the team with outside-of-the-box thinking and new ideas.
• Working with a strategic mindset, keeping well informed in customer, creative and product trends to better inform your work and create effective results.

1. Brand

• Understanding and working to company wide briefing processes and asset management, ensuring a good standard of filing and organisation is kept.
• Helping to evolve all aspects of the brand in line with the brand ethos.

1. Collaboration and standards

• Working collaboratively and closely with the graphics and marketing team to create effective solutions for every brief.
• Upholding a consistent and high standard of quality across all your work, always striving to learn and develop more effective techniques and efficient processes.

About You:

• Degree in BA Graphic Design or similar
• Demonstrates passion towards fashion, graphic design, typography, layout
• Experience in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, most importantly Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects and Illustrator.
• Motion Design skills are a plus
• Experience in creating digital and printed assets
• A can-do attitude, open to constructive feedback and offering alternative solutions when needed
• Great time management and ability to prioritise and manage workload based on multiple deadlines
• Good communication skills with both immediate team members and the wider business.
• Ability to work efficiently and proactively
• Self-motivated, conscientious and ambitious, constantly learning and developing your skills.
• Collaborative team-player, actively contributing to meetings and creative sessions.
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills and processes quickly.
• Genuine personal interest in fashion, lifestyle and cultural trends with an eye for luxury detail and style.
