Summary of the role

Within the hugely successful University of Exeter Sports Office a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced sport professional to join our team of Duty Managers.

The position will be based at St Lukes’ Sports Centre on a rota basis including weekends and evenings.

This role will involve supporting across all of the Sports Office’s sites as required; St Luke’s Sports Centre, Streatham Sports Park, the Outdoor Pool, Duckes Meadow playing fields, Topsham Sports Ground and the Boathouse.

Experience of working in a similar environment and dealing with a varied cross-section of customers is essential along with an awareness of health and safety issues. NPLQ and Pool Plant qualification will be essential or a willingness to undertake as soon as possible.

A supportive, proactive approach with a desire to succeed is of equal importance.

You will be responsible for managing a team of Operational Assistants and part time staff to ensure the smooth, safe operation of all three sites and for delivering high standards of service across all facilities.
