Teaching takes place during the school day, with the majority of the work available between 9.30am and 4.30pm. We are looking for tutors to carry out a range of work, from single-hour clubs to extended sessions over several hours. Our lessons are delivered to full classes of 30 children with support from a member of school staff. Our clubs are for up to 20 children.
The work is term-time only, covering approximately 30 weeks per academic year. Many of our tutors continue their work in a school year after year. CSC also offers its tutors other opportunities for paid work, at tournaments and special events across the region.
All tutors are subject to an enhanced DBS check and other standard school safeguarding measures. CSC will arrange the DBS check.
