  • £14.20) We are looking for Clerk to the Academy Council to join our supportive and talented team covering our Somerset Cluster; Redstart Primary, Castle Primary, Priorswood Primary, Monkton Wood Academy and The Sky Academy.

The role of Academy Clerk is paid on an annualised contract.
Redstart Primary, Castle Primary, Priorswood Primary and The Sky Academy will be 95hrs per school per year, and Monkton Wood Academy will be 160hrs.
The Clerk will need to work effectively with the Chair of the Academy Council, the Academy Principal and other Councillors.

The Clerk will ensure the smooth running of the Academy Council meetings: preparing agendas and meeting papers, taking and distributing minutes, giving administrative support, keeping records and up to date information on policies and date of reviews, and providing procedural and legislative advice to the Academy Council.

The successful candidates will have excellent organisational, communication and ICT skills.

Working within the central team, you will be contracted on a hybrid working model which includes the variety of working from home and office-based working.

You will also be based within the office or an academy setting for meetings to benefit in working with wider teams and build positive relationships with our key contacts within your schools.
