Job overview
This post is fixed term / secondment until 31/07/2025 to meet the needs of the service.

You will be required to provide executive support at Executive Director level and be able to demonstrate excellent management and organisational skills, have knowledge of a wide range of standard office software, and have the ability to develop effective working relationships with different levels and disciplines within the organisation.
The role is full time, working Monday-Friday.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Executive Medical Director’s office/function and will ensure that the business is managed effectively and efficiently.
The post holder will handle highly confidential and sometimes very contentious and sensitive information of a personal, financial and political nature and will therefore be relied upon to observe and comply with specific and implied confidentiality rules and policies.
The post holder is expected to work flexibly to support the Executive Medical Director, and assist and support other colleagues if required this includes working as part of a team with the other Executive Assistants/Senior Executive Assistants providing cover as required.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria- Vocational Level 3 or equivalent level knowledge and experience of a range of administrative processes, organisational policies and management procedures, acquired through training and experience in Executive Assistant roles at Board Level.
- Proficient typing skills and experience of all Microsoft Office Packages.
- Experience of managing formal meetings including preparation of agendas, collation of reports and minute taking.
- Experience of working in an NHS environment
- Ability to speak Welsh
