What you'll do
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Propositions & Customer Experience team at NatWest Tyl & Payit. Now in our fifth year, our products and services are evolving to offer best-in-class merchant acquiring and open banking services to customers.As a result, we’re looking for a talented Customer Insight Analyst to drive and support our ambitious growth plans.
As we scale, you’ll use market analysis, customer behavioural data, customer needs and customer feedback to help us identify and prioritise opportunities for growth and continuous improvement. You’ll inform our go-to-market plans as we launch to new sections of the market, and you’ll help us develop and test new products, features and services.You’ll also help us to develop a seamless digital customer experience across everything we do.
In addition, you’ll be:
- Identifying competitor trends, having a pulse on industry developments, benchmarking propositions against those of competitors
- Developing project specific approaches and frameworks to make sure that appropriate data and analytics are used in the assessment of specific business projects
- Developing and implementing customer value and customer segmentation models
- Enhancing and developing the current product MI reporting suite
- Supporting the ongoing review and revision of processes, making sure they are robust and there are controls in place for all identified risks
- Presenting insight to stakeholders of all levels, telling a compelling story and giving actionable recommendations

We’re looking for someone with a strong customer focus and a commitment to quality and drive to go the extra mile. You'll need the ability to work on your own initiative, and the flexibility and ability to work to tight deadlines.
You’ll also need:
- A passion and curiosity for understanding customers
- A strong commercial acumen to prioritise opportunities
- Excellent analytical skills with a good attention to detail
- Experience working with both qualitative and quantitative insight
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver effective presentations
- Proven analytical MI reporting skills with excellent influencing skills
- Strong relationship building skills to develop great relationships with your internal stakeholders and external agency partners
