This role is subject to -
  • Qualified to ITIL foundation, or willing to work towards it
  • BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance - this post is subject to BPSS checks. You will therefore be required to consent to and comply with BPSS checking requirements prior to commencing in this post. This check involves verification of identity; nationality and immigration status; employment history (past 3 years) and basic criminal record check

This is an exciting role as a Delivery Analyst within the Web & CRM team in ICT service delivery.

The Web and CRM team provides technical support to the Manchester City Council website, CMS system, ServiceNow system, payment system and third-party systems integration. The technical support varies from code debug to configuration changes. Some technical knowledge of debugging/problem solving would be highly desirable for the role.

The team also provides maintenance support for these critical ICT systems and works with vendors to upgrade these systems. The Council is undertaking improvement works in this area at the moment and we are looking for a flexible approach with willingness to adapt.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the technical skills for this position, together with these capabilities
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Excellent fault-finding skills in a complex environment
  • Be able to work closely with suppliers
  • Be able to work within a daily rota
  • Be forward thinking and adaptable with new technologies
  • Work within ITIL Framework including SLA’s and change management

If you don't have an ITIL qualification, you can work towards it in the role.
