Weight Management Service Coordinator | East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust
ESNEFT is starting a new Weight Management Service which will deliver bariatric/metabolic surgery, endoscopic and medical weight management treatments to the Suffolk and North Essex population.
We are looking for a Co-ordinator to join us in this exciting new service.
You will provide an efficient admin service to the team, including arranging appointments, processing queries from patients, managing electronic referrals and co-ordinating the patients journey through the Weight Management Service.
This role will be based at Colchester although working from home/flexible working will be considered.
You should have previous administration experience ideally within the NHS. Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team and good attention to detail are essential.
Audio typing of outpatient clinic letters using the digital dictation system and reports using Microsoft Word within agreed timescale.
To provide full and efficient secretarial and administrative support to WMS Consultants, CNS, AHP and Fellow.
Manage all electronic referrals as Trust policy
To co-ordinate patient journeys through the Weight Management Service, ensuring co-ordinated sequences of clinic appointments following defined pathways, including clinic booking, actioning MDT outcomes and ensuring patients complete all defined parts of assessment and treatment pathways.
