As the Senior Financial Performance Manager, you'll collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer - Fitness and Wellbeing, Chief Commercial Officer, Directors of Wellbeing and Trading Team to drive the financial performance of our fitness and wellbeing service lines and achieve our ambitious 2025 EBITDA goals.

You'll bring expertise in delivering financial improvements, ideally from a multi-site fitness and wellbeing or retail environment, to this vital role.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor growth plans regularly to ensure initiatives stay on track or implement mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities and challenge costs to optimise the use of charity resources.
  • Foster a culture of continuous financial performance improvement within the service line.
  • Provide commercial decision support and actionable business insights as a critical advisor.
  • Evaluate business performance and appraise investment opportunities.
  • Manage stakeholders across Operational Management, Trading teams, and the Group Executive Team.
  • Lead and manage the Financial Performance Manager - Fitness and Wellbeing.

To succeed as our Senior Financial Performance Manager, you'll have:

  • ACA or equivalent accountancy qualification with at least 7 years post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record of driving financial improvement within a complex organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge and negotiate effectively.
  • Experience in FP&A or Finance Business Partnering.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and analytical skills.
  • High commercial acumen and the ability to identify actionable insights.
  • Experience of leading a high performing team
  • Experience in the fitness and wellbeing industry, and across multiple sites is advantageous.
