Part Time Year 2 Teacher

You will work closely with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure that all children receive the best possible education. The position is offered on a part-time basis, covering insert number days per week, with the role being initially a maternity cover.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 2 National Curriculum.Monitor and assess the progress of students, providing appropriate feedback and support.Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages all students to reach their potential.Collaborate effectively with colleagues to plan and implement engaging cross-curricular activities.Maintain a clear and consistent approach to classroom management, fostering good behaviour and respect for others.Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child/s progress.Participate in school-wide events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.The Ideal Candidate:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly in Key Stage 1 (KS1), is desirable.A passion for teaching and a commitment to providing a high standard of education.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A proactive and creative approach to teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.Strong organisational and time-management skills.A positive, flexible attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.We Offer:A supportive and friendly team of staff who are committed to helping you succeed.Professional development opportunities to further your career.A well-resourced classroom and a collaborative working environment.The chance to make a real impact on the lives of children in the local community.
