Warehouse Team Leader - Nightshift
IKEA Customer Delivery Centre are looking to welcome a Fulfilment Operations Team Leader to join their store leadership team.
WHAT WE OFFER- The Start Date of employment will be: discussed during interview.
- Starting salary of £32,000 per per annum, based on competence and experience. Additional nightshift allowance of £2.25 an hour for each hour worked between 22:00pm and 06:00am.
- 40 hours a week, working 5 days per week including 2 weekends per month.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE- Background in retail or logistics role is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading people and delivering transformational business results while growing team abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members, prioritize tasks, assign responsibilities, and provide constructive feedback.
- Business-minded approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals.• Good computer skills and problem-solving experience.
- Ability to implement structural way of working within the area of responsibility.
- Ability to express thoughts and ideas with clarity and precision.
- Positive attitude with a balanced focus on both business objectives and people-oriented solutions.
- Manage the Fulfilment Operations Co-workers in the assigned area of responsibility to secure the highest goods available, operational readiness always at the lowest possible cost.
- Focused on identifying, engaging, mentoring, and growing the diverse members of the Fulfilment Operations team, ensuring they can confidently perform their roles and manage future transitions effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment throughout the unit and secure that the Fulfilment Operations Co-workers work in compliance with IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment.
- Secure effective, qualitative, and efficient daily Fulfilment Operations within the assigned area of responsibility by contributing to goal achievement, people, shift and equipment planning, create co-worker’s quality awareness to prevent and reduce damages, implement the local business plans/projects, and analyse existing workload to secure daily volume handling and meet seasonal needs.
- Support the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability agenda in the assigned unit operations environment.
- Leading a large team between 18-20 with confidence and clarity.
