Head of Data Protection & Information Security - Hospitality - £90K + Benefits
Leading group within the hospitality sector are seeking an experienced Head of Data Protection & Information Security to join them on a permanent basis.
This role will see you leading their data protection processes including privacy programmes, driving compliance within UK GDPR and wider data protection regulations. It will also have an important role in developing the information security strategy, implementing effective cyber security controls, and work closely with cyber security teams to develop cyber resilience plans.
The right person will have extensive experience in Data Protection and Information Security at a senior management or Head level, deep understanding of UK GDPR and Data Protection Acts, and proven background working in the retail or hospitality industry.
The Requirements:
- Experience in a Head of Data Protection, Data Protection Officer or Information Security role or similar.
- Deep knowledge and experience in UK data protection laws.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks; ISO 27001, NIST, etc.
- Able to lead and work with multi-faceted technical teams.
- Able to collaborate with wider operational teams and stakeholders up to board level.
- Experience in the retail or hospitality industry highly advantageous.
- Full UK Right to Work required - no sponsorship visa available.
The Overview:
- Up to £90,000 per annum depending on experience.
- Fulltime permanent role.
- Hybrid flexibility: 2 - 3 days onsite.
- Central London office.
