Project Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including “down the supply chain” external contacts and “up the supply chain” customers, for a wide range of engineering projects.
Responsibilities
The role is responsible for managing or contributing to the delivery of technical services at customer sites and Petards Defence’s factory, in the design, production and in-service support of new-build modern and legacy products, and delivering repair services to customer equipment.
The role also has specific responsibility for managing or contributing to the delivery of in-service support of legacy products, including the management of obsolescence, provision of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and processing engineering change for products.
Additionally, the role is responsible for ensuring that all work managed or contributed to is delivered in line with all relevant compliance regulations, technical standards, quality standards and other pertinent processes, procedures, frameworks or guidelines.
Essential Experience:- Experience of managing multiple engineering workflows concurrently, comprising different technical disciplines and adhering to differing regulatory standards.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of successfully managing a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience of working in the UK Defence & Security sector is preferred, but not essential.
- Subject matter expertise in either electrical, electronic or communications engineering disciplines is strongly preferred.
- Experience of delivering technical services and products to the UK public sector is preferred, but not essential.
