St Olave's Prep School, a leading educational institution in the heart of New Eltham, is seeking an exceptional Teaching Assistant to join our committed team of professionals. Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support children with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop and implement engaging lesson plans.
  • Provide one-to-one support to children with specific learning needs.
  • Foster a safe and nurturing atmosphere conducive to learning.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent qualification) preferred.
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an Early Years setting or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and the ability to motivate and inspire children.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
