We are advertising 2 Assistant Psychologist roles. One of these roles is based fully in within the Complex PTSD pathway. The other is a split role – working within the complex PTSD pathway and also working alongside the Consultant Psychologists to support the operations and development of the adult psychological pathways in Haringey.

The post holder will work as an Assistant Psychologist within the Haringey adult mental health teams. The roles will support clinical work, clinically related administrative functioning of the teams, audits and/or research projects, and supporting teaching and facilitation of outcome monitoring and evaluation

All clinical work will be under supervision of a qualified professional psychologist. This may include assisting with assessments and delivering interventions for clients in both individual and group formats, as well as joint working with members of MDTs.

The post holder will participate in team and clinical meetings. They will have a commitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies.

This is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities, and the postholder may be required to undertake other duties which fall within the grade of the job, in discussion with the manager

The partnership between Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) is going from strength to strength since it was originally established in 2021 forming the North London Mental Health Partnership.

In order to meet the needs of the new Partnership services you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Enfield and Harringay Trust and Camden and Islington Trust.

The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
