Service & Breakdown Engineer
A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a skilled Gas Service Engineer to become part of our growing team, focusing on both servicing and breakdowns in the Harrow, Uxbridge & Twickenham areas.
As a representative of one of the world's top boiler manufacturers, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing boilers according to the manufacturer's warranty, with all necessary parts supplied directly to your van. Training will be provided for the selected candidate.
We invite applications from apprentice-trained engineers, preferably with NVQ Level 3 or Advanced City and Guilds, or equivalent qualifications in Gas or Plumbing, including Domestic ACS certifications.
Your duties will be:- To service & repair boilers in line with the manufacturer’s warranty
- Keep check of your van stock, and allocate parts correctly as and when these are used.
- You will be working in accordance with Gas Safety Regulations and manufacturers' instructions.
- Excellent diagnostic skills and customer service skills are required.
- You will be expected to plan and organise workload to maximize productive time and ensure the best service to customers.
- This includes dealing with urgent and emergency repairs and ensuring, as far as practicable, that all appointments and targets are met.
- Weekend overtime available also.
