About the Role:
We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in NG2, Nottingham. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive in the classroom and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils' learning and development.
- Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to help children reach their full potential.
- Assist with SEN support, implementing strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Track pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
- Supervise and engage with children during break and lunch times.
- Prepare classroom resources and contribute to lesson planning.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Experience working with SEN pupils would be an advantage.
- A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
