Job Description
The key responsibilities for the Front of House Receptionist is:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors at reception.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and telephone enquiries.
- Provide administrative support, including meeting preparation, mailshots, and document handling.
- Assist with data entry, logging, and reporting using Excel.
- Type and format documents using standard company templates.
- Maintain office supplies and manage stock ordering.
- Support the Investment Managers with diary management and client communications.
- Coordinate incoming secretary requests via a shared task inbox.
- Assist with internal tracking tools such as business pipeline and reporting spreadsheets.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for the Front of House Receptionist is someone with the following:
- Previous reception and telephone handling experience.
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills; comfortable inputting and managing data.
- Accurate typing and ability to use standard templates.
- Experience in a secretarial or team assistant role preferred.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a positive team spirit.
- Proactive, helpful attitude and strong communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt, with training provided as needed
