Are you a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence professional looking for a new challenge? RDaSH is seeking a dynamic and motivated BI Reporting Manager to join the Information Management and Business Intelligence team within Health Informatics Directorate.This is an exciting opportunity to lead the BI Reporting team and drive the delivery of high-quality business intelligence, reporting services, advanced analytics, and data products for improved patient care and outcomes.
Reporting to the Head of Information Management & Business Intelligence, the successful candidate will work in collaboration with corporate, clinical, regional, and national colleagues to ensure continuous data maturity, supporting priority operational proactive insight, performance management, and alignment with national compliance.
The role involves developing, implementing, and managing BI and data solutions, including interactive dashboards using tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services and Power BI, to achieve the Trust's strategy, plans, and objectives.
The post holder will be responsible for the management of the BI Reporting team, ensuring the Trust achieves its clinical and business objectives, as well as its continuous data maturity ambitions. This will be accomplished through the intelligent application of information and robust intelligence about the Trust’s business functions, enabling the organisation to deliver safe and effective care.
Main duties of the job
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of BI analysts, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely reports and data visualizations.Collaboration: Work with corporate, clinical, regional, and national colleagues to support data maturity and compliance.
BI Solutions Development: Develop and implement BI solutions, including interactive dashboards using tools such as SQL and Power BI.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable data solutions and provide analytical support.
Data Management: Ensure robust data management processes, policies, and procedures are in place.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and training to staff, ensuring knowledge transfer and expanding reporting capabilities.
Performance Monitoring: Oversee the performance of the BI team, including recruitment, appraisals, and career guidance.
Innovation: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Strategic Alignment: Align BI activities with the Trust's strategy, plans, and objectives.
Project Management: Plan, organize, and lead BI projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
Priority Management: Manage and prioritize team tasks and projects to meet deadlines and support operational needs
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national reporting requirements.

Qualifications
Essential criteria- Educated to degree level or have extensive equivalent demonstrable practical Information development experience.
- Evidence of professional development for example Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) qualification or attending accredited IT courses.
- Microsoft SQL Certification.
- Management qualification
