We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing educational environment in Scunthorpe. This role involves working 1:1 with a student, providing tailored support and contributing positively to their educational experience.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide one-on-one assistance to a designated student, ensuring they receive the individualised support they need.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement educational plans that cater to the student’s specific needs.
• Assist in the development of social skills and encourage a positive learning environment.
• Monitor and report on the student’s progress to teachers and parents.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of the student.
• Participate in training and development sessions to improve professional skills and educational knowledge.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, understanding, and the ability to motivate students.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to the personal and educational development of students.
• Enhanced DBS check will be required
