Job Duties:
- Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and providing assistance to students
- Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment
- Helping students with individual learning needs or disabilities
- Preparing and organising educational materials and resources
- Supervising students during breaks and outdoor activities
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Education:
- Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of child development and learning processes
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Basic IT skills for using educational software and programmes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- First Aid certification
