Job Description

The role of Architect Technologist will involve:

• Collaborating with architects and designers to construct safe and sustainable buildings.
• Reviewing and analysing reports and technical documents.
• Digesting and summarising building regulations and tender documentation.
• Researching and recommending new construction materials and technologies.
• Conducting site visits to ensure compliance with design plans and safety regulations.
• Assisting in developing project budgets and time-lines.
• Coordinating with construction teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Participating in meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and standards in the Construction sector.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Architect Technologist should have:

• A minimum 5 year's experience, ideally with a consultancy background.
• Strong conceptual thinking.
• Revit software experience (essential).
• The confidence to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• A strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• The commitment to being consistently involved in the design process.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for sustainable design.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment within the Building and Construction industry.
