Job overview
Looking for 2 new staff members to come and work within the Medical Records Department within our Library environment. The contracts are permanent and the hours will be as follows -
Post one - Monday - Friday - 08:30 - 16:30
Post two - Monday - Friday - 08:30 - 13:00
This post covers all library duties, as well as Admissions and Medico-legal work.
Main duties of the job
The main duties are as follows -
Filing and retrieving paper records from our library in an accurate and timely manner.
To track and locate case notes for other areas and hospitals
To prepare and provide case notes for clinics and admissions.
Being involved in the digitising of paper records, prepping, scanning and quality checking of the records on our digitisation system.
To deal with all Subject Access requests from Solicitors, police, other agencies and patients adhering to GDPR regulations.
