Optical Assistant Apprenticeship

Location: Okehampton, Devon
Hours: Full time - 40 hours (to include weekend working)
Salary: £8ph (£16,684.80 per annum)

Who is this Apprenticeship for?
  • Individuals with GSCE Maths at Grade 9-4 (A*-C), or an equivalent level qualification
  • Individuals who have lived in the EU for 3 years or more, with the right to work in the UK
What does the role involve?
  • Welcoming customers into store
  • Booking in eye tests
  • Pre-screening patients
  • Providing style advice
  • Measuring frames
  • Taking phone calls

What will you gain?

Your on-the-job training will sit alongside structured learning that will lead to a nationally recognised qualification. At the end of your time as an apprentice, you’ll be a fully-fledged Level 3 Optical Assistant. Over the course of eighteen months with us, you’ll: Earn a salary - Paid Monthly
