Help us make a difference to people with life-limiting illnesses…

At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community.

We have three hospices, a range of community services, and 26 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire.

About the role:

We are looking for a Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser to join our expanding Fundraising team.

As a Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser, a typical day might include:

  • Researching, preparing and submitting tailored funding proposals
  • Keeping on track of funding application deadlines and results
  • Providing excellent donor/supporter care to existing and prospective funders
  • Working with other stakeholders on projects or cases for funding
  • Keeping funders updated on our work and the difference their support makes
  • Working towards financial targets and goals

This role will support our work by bringing in essential funding now and in the future through building relationships with existing and potential funders.

We can offer either home working or office working at one of our sites in Coventry, Warwick or Rugby depending on your preferences. If home working, there will be some on-site meetings and appointments required, so you must be able to occasionally travel to these sites.

We have between 15 and 19 hours available and will work with you to agree on a suitable working pattern.

About you:

We’re seeking a Trusts & Grants Fundraiser with:

  • Knowledge of the funding landscape and needs of grant making organisations
  • Experience of donor care or customer care, achieving targets and managing a varied workload
  • Skills in communication, research, time management, numeracy, presentations and IT
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Professionalism and the ability to build working relationships with a variety of stakeholders

Other roles you may have experience of could include: Grants Fundraiser; Trusts and Grants Fundraiser; Trust Fundraising Officer.

We are committed to building an inclusive workplace and encourage everyone to bring their true selves to work. However you identify, and whatever background you bring with you, we welcome you to apply. If there are any adjustments that would help improve your experience with Myton, we encourage you to share this with us.

We particularly welcome applications from people with disabilities and from ethnic minorities, who are currently under-represented in our hospices. We also believe our interview process should be inclusive and transparent. If there is anything missing, or a way we can improve, please do let us know.
