My client is a large Not for Profit organisation based in the Gwent area. They serve the community and are going through a period of transformational change.
Job Description
Are you a Hand on Qualified Head of Finance looking for a new challenge?My client, based in the Newport area, is looking for interim cover on an ongoing basis to establish strong robust accounting processes and controls throughout the organisation.
As the only qualified Accountant for the organisation you will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance department, managing 1 Finance Assistant and producing the Monthly management Accounts.
The organisation is going through a period of change, so you will be involved in multiple projects.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Head of Finance' should have:
- A fully qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA.
- Proven expertise in financial management and strategy development.
- Very "hands on" approach to accounting. This role will require you to produce the accounts.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A daily salary range of approximately £300 to £400 per day via an umbrella company, depending on experience and skills.
- very flexible working - 1 - 2 days a week in the office. Can be flexible around start and finish times.
