Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the team in preparing weekly and monthly payrolls across multiple business units.
- Oversee all aspects of payroll administration and processing.
- Support the team in handling payroll queries from employees efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with payroll timetables, policies, and procedures.
- Train and mentor payroll staff to maintain a high level of team expertise.
- Assist with data manipulation and upload of payroll input data from various business areas.
- Be process-oriented and service-driven, working collaboratively within the team.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels, confidently supporting payroll colleagues.
- Demonstrate strong numerical skills, including the ability to perform manual calculations independently.
- Think logically and work independently, delivering strong results.
- Assist the Payroll Manager with daily tasks, audits, meetings, and team supervision.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll processing and supervision.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience with payroll software and data processing.
