About the Role
New Formation Education is excited to be partnering with a fantastic primary school in Ealing to recruit a motivated and dedicated Unqualified Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant for an immediate start.
This role is ideal for graduates with a keen interest in pursuing a career in education and supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). While a background in psychology, childcare, or related fields is preferred, candidates with a degree in any discipline are encouraged to apply.The school values enthusiasm, a passion for helping children with various needs, and a commitment to building experience in a school setting. Prior school-based experience is not required-just a desire to learn, grow, and make a real difference in the lives of students.
Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with SEN, helping them engage with their learning and the curriculum
- Assist the classroom teacher in creating an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment
- Support the implementation of individual learning plans and strategies for students with SEN
- Encourage students' social, emotional, and academic development by fostering a positive, nurturing approach
- Build positive relationships with students to enhance their confidence, communication, and engagement
- Work as part of a team, collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure the best outcomes for students
- A genuine interest in working with children, especially those with SEN, and a desire to help them achieve their potential
- A degree in psychology, childcare, or a related field is preferred, but not essential. Graduates from any discipline are welcome to apply
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
- A proactive, adaptable, and compassionate attitude
- A willingness to learn and engage in professional development opportunities
- No prior school-based experience required-just a strong desire to gain experience in an educational setting
