Machine Technician
Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Maintenance Operative with company based in Johnstone. This is a permanent position and the working hours are Monday to Thursday 8 am - 4.30 pm, Friday 8 am - 3.30 pm, 39 hours per week.
The role is to assist the engineering department in the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment throughout the site.
Duties:-
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout the whole factory environment, reporting any possible improvements to chargehand/supervisor/managerEnsure good working standards are maintained.
Operate granulator and waste compaction machinery.
Carry out recycling operations. Carry out Van deliveries and uplifts.
Undertake factory maintenance to both internal and external areas.
Any other work requested by manager/supervisor or chargehand to ensure effective operation of the business
Responsible for personal and general factory health and safety in line with the company health and safety policy outlined in the Company Handbook.Experience and skills required:-
General factory repair and maintenance experienceAn ability to work under pressure
Team working
Current driving licence
Knowledge of the various materials on site
Salary: £15.94 per hour
