Learning Support Assistant
- Annual Salary: £26,937 - £27,361 (inclusive of London Weighting)
- Actual Salary: £23,763 - £24,137 per annum
- Location: Southeast London
- Job Type: Full-time, Part-year (36 hours per week, 200 days per year)
- Start Date: September 2025

Day-to-day of the role:
- Support named students with learning difficulties or disabilities both inside and outside the classroom.
- Facilitate students' full access to the curriculum, ensuring they can achieve their potential.
- Work closely with teaching staff to implement strategies that improve educational outcomes for students with additional needs.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and adapt according to the specific needs of students.
- Monitor and support the progress and attainment of students.
- Provide feedback to teachers and parents to help further support students’ educational development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or a similar role, or a graduate aiming to gain experience before pursuing teacher training.
- Strong passion for education and improving outcomes for young people with additional needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience working with young people in educational or related settings is preferred.
