Claims Assistant - Part Time, 3 days per week

Role Overview
This position sits within the Treasury team, reporting directly to the Group Insurance Manager. As the Claims Assistant, you will coordinate multiple claims across various classes of insurance.
The role would suit someone with claims experience gained with an insurer, broker, loss adjuster or in-house claims team.
The Insurance team at TP ICAP manages the Group's global and regional insurance programmes. In addition, there are several business/region or project specific insurances in force.
This opportunity is available on a part-time, 3 day per week basis.
Role Responsibilities
The position will requirement management of the entire claims process from initial notification to settlement.
There will be a need to work closely with our brokers, insurers and colleagues to:
- Gather and review claims support data and recommend appropriate information for submission to insurers - to progress claims to conclusion.
- Liaise with brokers to develop and maintain claims summary reports.
- Lead broker and insurer claims meetings.
- Liaise with internal legal on a case by case basis.
- Devise and maintain internal claims recording and reporting protocols.
Experience / Competences
Essential- Prior experience managing and processing complex insurance claims across global Financial Lines, Property/Liability Policies.
- Ability devise and implement claims management protocols including development of appropriate MI.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels across the business
- Ability to influence and drive change
- Strong attention to detail highly organised with a proactive approach
- Self-motivated with a passion for delivering improvements and taking initiative
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Solid experience in handling multi-disciplinary claims including Warranty & Indemnity insurance claims would be beneficial
- Qualification to ACII level
