Our Pharmacy team have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant at our Cambridge Hospital. In this role, you'll ensure the handling of a variety of administrative tasks. Join us and continue your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Managing end-to-end administrative processes: This includes tasks like calculating drug prices, updating patient accounts, and providing medication quotations to clinicians and the clinical department for self-funding patients.
- Prioritising and organising your workload: You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can juggle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will have:
- Ability to prioritise and organise a workload of changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and can handle inquiries from both patients and clinicians.
- Good working knowledge of excel, word, and outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Understand the importance of adhering to policies and procedures.
