We are thrilled to support a thriving business located in the heart of Sevenoaks in recruiting an Accounts Assistant. The successful applicant will join a close-knit team working under the guidance of the Finance Director. The Role
As an Accounts Assistant, you will hold a vital position within the finance team, undertaking a range of daily accounting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Monitoring purchase and sales ledgers
- Preparing management reports
- Completing VAT returns
- Performing credit control tasks
- Payroll administration
- Administering employee expenses
- 2–3 years of relevant finance experience
- A proactive, detail-oriented work style
- Strong background in transactional accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Xero or Sage
- Solid working knowledge of Excel
- Competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £30,000 per year
- Possible support for achieving accounting qualifications
