About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate candidates for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant role, available either full-time or part-time as a job share, to join our team at Stone with Woodford C of E Primary School. The successful candidates will support a pupil with communication and interaction needs, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum and school life.

Approximately 80% of the timetable will involve direct 1:1 support, with the remaining 20% dedicated to interventions and general classroom assistance.

Key Responsibilities

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored support to a pupil with communication and interaction needs.
  • Implement personalised learning plans and interventions.
  • Facilitate the pupil's engagement and participation in classroom activities.
  • Adapt learning materials to meet the pupil's specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to ensure cohesive support.
  • Assist with general classroom duties and deliver group interventions as needed.
