Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Introduction
We require a Master Scheduler to join our busy planning team, based at our site in Abercynon, South Wales.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Master Scheduling business process- Action and control all exception messages in MPS/MRP
- Level load schedule dates based on current capacity
- Creation and management of manufacturing works orders.
- Able to action engineering change notes
- Action all returns
- Monitor and report external production schedules
- Effectively communicate scheduling exceptions to Sales and Operations
- Escalate demand/supply/ capacity issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Participation in the development of ERP system allowing for cross function improvement streamlining of the planning and support function processes.
- Provide weekly/ monthly reports on achievement of plans, KPI's, and efficiencies to support the weekly management review.
- Responding to changes in customer, supplier and business requirements and effectively communicating to revised plan.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
Core Requirements- Computer literate - Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook etc)
- Previous experience in using ERP in a low volume, high variety environment.

Our Recruitment Process
Initially we will reach out to you for an informal conversation about the role. This will allow you the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about TT, our site and our team. It will also give us the chance to learn more about you and your experience to date.At this point both parties have the opportunity to decide if they would like to continue with the process.
Formal Interviews will be held on site and include a tour of the facility.
Due to the specific projects TT Electronics Abercynon Supports we are unable to sponsor work visas for this role. Candidates will be required to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard Clearance and hold UK or US citizenship.
Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre and during employment drug and alcohol testing.
