We are always looking towards the future and into ways to improve our processes and outputs. We rely on our colleagues and teams to identify how this can be done, with this in mind we are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our Glasgow site engineering team.

What's the mission?
Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault-finding and maintenance of all site equipment and machinery.

You will work on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems. You'll need to be a qualified and experienced electrician and able to commute to our Glasgow site daily.

You will be working a continental 4 on 4 off shift pattern, (05:00am to 05:00pm - days only).

What are the mission-critical skills?
  • Excellent electrical engineering skills are essential
  • JIB 18th edition qualified
  • Execute PPM and provide input into systems & process improvements
  • PLC fault finding and diagnostic skills (Allen Bradley)
  • Ability to fault find using a range of industry standard test equipment
  • Be a team player with an attention to detail
  • Good understanding of current environmental, health and safety regulations & requirements.
  • Ability to interrogate/understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information/recommendations.
  • Computer literate with excellent communication skills.
