The Role
In our small Team, as a Community Development Officer, you will play a key role in identifying local needs and delivering innovative projects that improve lives. You will work closely with individuals, groups, business and third sector partners to:
- Develop and support community-led initiatives.
- Empower individuals to build skills, confidence, and networks.
- Crating a partnership approach to embed community priorities and foster collaboration.
- Promote inclusion, engagement, and sustainability in all activities.

- Has a genuine passion for supporting people and communities.
- Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Can work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team.
- Has experience and understanding of the value of community development and empowerment.
- Understands the complexity and challenges of this type of role.
