As a CSW - Social Worker - First Contact (Gr 8), you will serve a crucial role in our organization, offering direct support and services to individuals facing various life challenges. ResponsibilitiesConduct initial assessments to identify the needs of clients seeking assistance.
Develop and implement personalized intervention plans in collaboration with clients.
Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to clients facing urgent issues.
Facilitate referrals to appropriate community resources and services.
Monitor and evaluate client progress towards established goals and adjust plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, documentation, and reports.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
RequirementsA Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
Current state licensure or certification as a social worker.
At least two years of experience in direct social work practice.
Strong understanding of social service systems and community resources.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and capacity to work independently.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £26.68
